Every LEGO Technic gear as one part: pick the tooth count and the cut. All of them turn on the same Ø4.8 mm cross axle, so swapping one for another changes the ratio without moving the axle it sits on — a spur gear to mesh flat, a bevel or double bevel to turn a corner, a crown to drive a spur gear at a right angle, and the 16-tooth clutch to slip instead of stall.
