Plastic Gearmotor

Every plastic-gearbox DC motor the Inventory carries behind one tile: pick the brand, then the type. They are small brushed cans with a moulded reduction on the front and nothing else in common, so unlike a NEMA frame the choice moves the body, the mounting and the shaft — what every one of them does carry is a male output shaft, which is the family's contract. Pololu's sub-micro planetary comes in four reductions on a 6 mm round body, their mini plastic gearmotor with its 12 CPR encoder in two connector positions, CyberBrick's 030 with its reducer on a double-D hub, and the yellow TT every robot-car kit carries, Adafruit's plain one and DFRobot's with an encoder, both with a double-flat shaft out of each side. Untick Mounting tab for Adafruit's TT with the tab at its gearbox's end cut off flush, as it goes into a printed case that holds it by its body, such as the TT Motor Case.
