Pololu's reverse-voltage protectors and ideal diodes behind one tile: a MOSFET in place of a series diode, so a battery connected backwards costs nothing and a forward drop of a few tens of millivolts replaces the half volt a Schottky would burn. Pick the board for the current you need.
