Wood Screw

A screw that cuts its own way into wood: a countersunk or pan-head wood screw from 3 to 6 mm, or a hex-head coach screw from 6 to 12 mm, at the lengths each is sold in. Put its tip on a face of a timber or sheet and it drives in until its head bears; Fasten then holds everything it runs through.
