House (LEGO Creator 7796)

Description

LEGO Creator set 7796, a small house with a pitched roof and a porch, from 2008, built in ReDo from LEGO System parts by their part numbers: 56 pieces, each one the real part in its real colour, studs clicked into the pieces above as the set is built.

## Where it comes from

Each piece is placed where the LDraw community's model of the set puts it: *7796 - House* by Merlijn Wissink [Legolijntje], from LDraw's Official Model Repository, redistributable under CCAL 2.0 (CC BY 2.0). The parts are ReDo's own parametric LEGO parts, not LEGO's CAD.

## What is different from the box

- The four clear 1 × 2 window bricks (3065, with no tube underneath) are the current 1 × 2 brick, 3004, which has the same outside.
- The parts leave out what does not change how they fit: the ridges inside a brick's walls, the hollow in a stud's top.

## Try it

The roof is the 45° 2 × 4 roof ridge with slopes down each side. Lift it off, select any piece to see its part number, or change its colour.
