Robie House (LEGO 21010)

Description

LEGO Architecture set 21010, Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House, built in ReDo from LEGO System parts by their part numbers: 2,276 pieces, each one the real part in its real colour, studs clicked into the pieces above as the set is built.

## Where it comes from

Each piece is placed where the LDraw community's model of the set puts it: *21010 - Robie House* by Merlijn Wissink [Legolijntje], from LDraw's Official Model Repository, redistributable under CCAL 2.0 (CC BY 2.0). The parts are ReDo's own parametric LEGO parts, not LEGO's CAD.

## What is different from the box

- The model places a black 1 × 1 plate inside a 1 × 3 brick, one more than the set has, so it is left out, and a grey 1 × 6 plate overlapping a 1 × 4 tile, so it sits one stud along.
- The 37 old 1 × 2 jumper plates (3794b) are the current jumper, 15573, which has the same outside.
- The parts leave out what does not change how they fit: the groove along a tile's bottom edge, the ridges inside a brick's walls, the hollow in a stud's top. The panels' top corners are rounded and their edges otherwise square.

## Try it

Take it apart as the set comes apart: the three dark red hipped roofs lift off, then the upper storey, and under them the rows of clear 1 × 1 windows and the brick walls stand as they were built. Select any piece to see its part number, or change its colour.
