Description

LEGO BrickHeadz set 41590, Iron Man, from Marvel's films, built in ReDo from LEGO System parts by their part numbers: 96 pieces, each one the real part in its real colour, studs clicked into the pieces above as the set is built.


## Where it comes from


Each piece is placed where the LDraw community's model of the set puts it: *41590 - Iron Man* by Damien Roux [Darats], from LDraw's Official Model Repository, redistributable under CCAL 2.0 (CC BY 2.0). The parts are ReDo's own parametric LEGO parts, not LEGO's CAD.


## What is different from the box


- The printed pieces are built plain: the curved 2 × 4 of his faceplate, a 1 × 4 tile and the 2 × 4 number tile. The model draws these prints itself, and ReDo builds each as the part underneath.
- The two 2 × 2 tiles on the sides of his head are centred on the jumper studs they clip onto, 0.8 mm from where the model sets them, so each stud goes into its tile's tube.
- The parts leave out what does not change how they fit: the groove along a tile's bottom edge, the ridges inside a brick's walls, the hollow in a stud's top.


## Try it


His side tiles clip onto jumpers turned on their sides. Take the head off, or take it apart from the top, select any piece to see its part number, or change its colour.
