Euro Pallet

Description

A 70 × 50 × 17.5 mm Euro pallet built only from ReDo Plates and Blocks — the same three layers of boards and nine blocks as the real 1200 × 800 mm EPAL pallet, laid out on the 10 mm grid.

## How it is built

- **The bottom boards** are three 7 × 1 Plates, 2.5 mm thick, countersunk underneath.
- **Nine Blocks**, one cell each, stand on them in three rows of three, as the real pallet's nine blocks do.
- **The stringer boards** are three 1 × 5 Plates laid across the blocks, a darker brown as in the photo of the printed one.
- **The deck boards** are three more 7 × 1 Plates, countersunk on top, running the long way over the stringers.

Each block takes two M3 countersunk screws down its middle: an M3 × 10 from the deck through the deck board and the stringer, and an M3 × 6 from below through the bottom board. The heads sit flush, so the pallet stands flat and stacks.

## Build it

1. Screw the nine blocks onto the three bottom boards from underneath.
2. Lay the three stringers across the rows of blocks.
3. Lay the deck boards over them and screw down through each block.

As on the real one, the gaps between the blocks let a forklift's tines in from all four sides.
