ReDo Race Car

Description

A small open-wheel racer built only from ReDo parts: a chassis of Blocks and L Brackets held together with M3 screws, four wheels turning on screw axles, and an F1 front wing.

## How it is built

- **The spine** is a Block seven cells long. Six L Brackets and two one-cell Blocks are fastened to it with M3 × 6 countersunk screws, giving the car its sides and nose.
- **Each wheel** is a Wheel Rim wearing a LEGO Small Tyre. It turns on an M3 × 16 screw that passes through the rim and a 4 mm spacer and threads into the spine; the spacer holds the wheel clear of the body.
- **The front wing** is fastened to the nose bracket with one M3 × 4 screw.

## Build it

1. Fasten the brackets and the two short Blocks to the seven-cell spine, countersunk heads flush.
2. Screw the front wing to the nose bracket.
3. Push a tyre onto each rim, then screw each wheel on through its spacer.

Every screw, wheel and tyre in it is joined the way the editor joins them, so its parts list is the shopping list. Try a wider tyre, or a longer spine, and see what else has to move.
