The round plate, 1x1 to 8x8 — the same disc at a third the height, and studded wherever a whole stud fits inside the rim, which is what separates it from the Round Tile; the centre can be a pin hole, an axle hole or an open stud. The 8x8 can instead carry only its middle 2x2 of studs, with a cross-shaped frame of 21 tubes underneath inside an otherwise empty rim, as LEGO's 6177 does.
