Pololu's aluminium scooter wheel adapter, from their own CAD: a stepped boss 22 mm across and 12 mm tall with a 6.37 mm bore for a 1/4" shaft and three holes tapped M3 on a 12.4 mm circle. Two M4 set screws through the side clamp it to the shaft. It carries a scooter wheel on a motor shaft, through the matching plate.
