LEGO's plain bars by part number: pick a length, then the stop and end holes that exist at it, and the SKU row names the part. A bar is a 3.2 mm rod, the size of a wheel holder pin, so a small rim's holder hole turns on it; a stop is a 4.8 mm ring near one end or in the middle. Each is the parametric Bar, so it takes any colour.
